Terms & Conditions

Our terms & conditions come from all the current policies at Hampton in Arden Sports Club. These policies cover the Sports Club as a whole and its facilities such as the Clubhouse and policies that are specific to each sport. The Terms & Conditions that you agree to when paying and renewing your membership through the Ashbourne Membership system includes a link to this page. By ticking the declaration box on the Ashbourne Membership system you confirm that you have read and agree to Hampton in Arden Sports Club’s Terms & Conditions outlined on this page and the associated links. We would like to stress the importance of these policies to the smooth running of the club. They are there to protect vulnerable groups, such as children with our Safeguarding Policy, staff working at the club and also you as members.

If you cannot agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not tick the declaration box on the Ashbourne Membership system. If you do not agree to the Terms & Conditions we regret that we will not be able to accept your application for membership of Hampton in Arden Sports Club. If you are an existing member and you no longer agree to these Terms & Conditions, we regret that we will have to revoke your membership at Hampton in Arden Sports Club.

We would like to inform members that CCTV is operation in the Clubhouse and Car Park (CCTV Policy).

 

Clubhouse Rules

The breaching of which may result in the temporary or permanent revocation of your membership:

  • No violence towards other members or employees of the club.
  • No indecent exposure.
  • No verbal abuse towards other members or employees of the club.
  • No possession or usage of illegal substances on sports club premises.
  • Smoking or vaping is not permitted in the Clubhouse.
  • No excessive drunk and disorderly behaviour.
  • Vandalism, defacing, or any other wilful damage to the courts, the Clubhouse, lights, or any ancillary equipment.

Following a breach of one of the above rules those involved may be temporarily suspended for a fuller investigation.

Club Guidelines

  • All children (under 16) at the sports club must be supervised by their parents.
  • Children must not play with sports club equipment unless authorised by the club.
  • Children must not play in the changing rooms – this could pose a safeguarding issue and these areas are for the use of members for sporting purposes only.
  • Unsupervised children are not allowed to play on the Squash courts unless playing Squash or Racketball.
  • Please do not leave litter on the floor inside or outside the clubhouse.
  • If you bring in take-away food, please can you be considerate around other members, dispose of all your rubbish in the bins provided and wash up any utensils that have been used.
  • Dogs are welcome in the clubhouse, but owners must always keep them on a lead.
  • No placard or notice shall be placed on the walls of the Clubhouse, inside or outside, or otherwise publicly displayed, except with permission of the Sports Club Committee.
  • The Club shall not be responsible to Members or others for loss of or damage done to anything brought onto Club premises.

The breaching of which will result in an initial conversation with a Board member and could lead to a temporary or permanent revocation of your membership if not addressed.

Members and visitors shall be personally liable for damage caused by them to the Club premises and Club property and will be subject to disciplinary action by the Committee.
